I have travelled highway 12 more times than I can count
It winds and follows the River, Primitive, there is no doubt.
The beauty is breath taking and it seems untouched.
It changes with the seasons, that I love so very much.
One day up the Lochsa, the fog was Oh so thick,
I crept along the highway hoping the right way I would only pick.
Suddenly it lifted and there was a beautiful Lake,
With a big bull moose crossing it, intent to investigate.
